Body found in Salisbury park sent to examiner

SALISBURY, MD – (AP) Salisbury police say the State Medical Examiner has been sent badly decomposed human remains found Monday near the Northwood Industrial Park.

The remains are believed to be those of a woman. Authorities are trying to identify the remains and determine the cause of death.

The body was found in a partially wooded area.

Police say the condition of the remains made it impossible to immediately say if foul play was involved in the death.
