Man charged with using air gun in robbery

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) – A Florida man is charged with using an
air gun in a Wilmington robbery.
The victim told police he was robbed Sunday in the 1600
block of west Fourth Street shortly after 3am.
Police saw a man running who matched the description at Third
and Clayton. They say the man threw something away, and officers
later recovered a black air pistol they say was used in the
robbery.
Travis Whitfield, of Fort Pierce, Florida, is now at Howard
Young prison facing a 21-thousand dollar secure bail.
