Man who disappeared off capsized boat found dead

DARES BEACH, MD – (AP) Authorities have located the body of a 73-year-old man who was on a boat that capsized over the weekend in the Chesapeake Bay.

The man disappeared Saturday evening from a catamaran that capsized off Dares Beach. One man on the boat was rescued by the Calvert County Sheriff's Department.

Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Ayla Stevens says the missing man's body was found by the Maryland Natural Resource Police on Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old kayaker who disappeared Saturday afternoon in Hull Creek, near the mouth of the Potomac River in Virginia, was found in good condition late Sunday afternoon.
