Rockets 94 Wizards 69

HOUSTON, TX – (AP) The Houston Rockets rolled to their 13th consecutive victory, routing the Washington Wizards 94-69 just hours after learning Yao Ming would miss the rest of the season.

Dikembe Mutombo had four points and six assists while starting in place of Yao, who will need about 4 months to recover from a stress fracture in his left foot.

Carl Landry added 12 points while spelling the 41-year-old Mutombo.

Luther Head had a team-high 18 points for the Rockets, who never trailed after scoring the game's first seven points.

The Rockets won for the 17th time in their last 18 games despite a poor shooting night by Tracy McGrady, who went 4-for-15 in scoring 11 points.

Antawn Jamison paced the Wizards with 18 points, but the rest of the starters combined for only 22.
