Women killed in Sussex car crash

HARBESON, Del. (AP) – Delaware State Police have identified a woman who died in a car crash in Sussex County.

Authorities say 53-year-old Lou Ann Stine of Lewes died at the scene of an 8 a.m. crash Monday on Route 9 near Harbeson.

Police said Stine wasn't wearing a seat belt when she slammed into the back of a van that was waiting to turn left onto Hudson Road.

They say the driver of the work van wasn't injured and hasn't been charged.

Police said the roadway has been reopened and that they are still investigating.
