Two men accused of killing a 12-year-old girl during a shooting at Leon Day Park and a 76-year-old woman during a street robbery have been indicted on charges including first-degree murder, Baltimore City State’s Attorney Ivan Bates announced.
The cases involve the deaths of Khloe Ishway, who was killed during a shootout at a West Baltimore youth football gathering, and Claudia Bismark, who died after an alleged robbery in the Fells Point area. Officials say the indictments reflect the seriousness of the violence and their intention to pursue accountability.
“On first degree murder, we are not going to negotiate and we are not giving a number,” Bates said. “We will only give these four letters—L-I-F-E. We will give life.”
Tyree Reynolds Accused in Fatal Shooting at Leon Day Park

According to Bates, 23-year-old Tyree Reynolds allegedly left 20 rifle cartridge casings at the scene of the shooting at Leon Day Park. Five of the shots struck people, including Khloe Ishway, an innocent bystander who was killed during the gunfire.
Khloe’s death prompted an outpouring of grief in the community, with residents gathering to remember the young girl and call for justice.

Montray McCray Accused in Fatal Attack on Elderly Woman
In a separate case, 32-year-old Montray McCray is accused of killing 76-year-old Claudia Bismark during a street robbery.
Bates said investigators learned that McCray had allegedly punched another robbery victim in the face three days before the attack on an elderly couple that resulted in Bismark’s death.
Investigators also learned that McCray was a trained boxer. Bates said that training could have increased the force and potential harm caused by a punch.
“A trained boxer’s punch would actually probably mean a little more and cause a little more destruction and harm than the average individual,” Bates said.
Bismark’s death left friends and members of the community mourning a woman they remembered for her caring nature.

Baltimore Officials Call for Accountability
The two cases have drawn attention to violence against vulnerable people in places where residents should feel safe. Khloe was killed during a community gathering at an athletic field, while Bismark was attacked after an outing in her neighborhood.
Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott said the city intends to hold people accused of committing serious acts of violence accountable.
“We are sending a clear message that anyone who commits this kind of active, careless, reckless violence will be held accountable,” Scott said, adding that those responsible should spend the rest of their lives in prison.
The indictments mark a significant development in both cases. The charges remain allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
