Baltimore Ravens Fans Show Support Despite Fourth Straight Loss to Jaguars

Even as the Baltimore Ravens struggled through a difficult stretch of the season, fans continued to show their support Thursday night at M&T Bank Stadium.

Baltimore entered its matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars hoping to end a three-game losing streak. However, injuries to star quarterback Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley left the team facing another major challenge.

The Ravens ultimately suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, falling 33-10 to Jacksonville.

Despite the disappointing result, the loss did little to diminish the enthusiasm of Baltimore’s loyal fan base. Fans of all ages traveled from across Maryland and beyond, filling the stadium with purple jerseys, team spirit, and support for their favorite team.

“I’m so excited, this is my first prime time game, so I’m super happy,” said Noah Bezalel.

Kierstyn Carter-Laman, who was born in 1996, the same year the Ravens began playing, said the team has always held a special place in her life.

“I was born in ’96, so I feel a kindred spirit to the Ravens. We were born at the same time. It’s my team,” she said.

Nicole Bivins of Parkville also noticed the excitement among the crowd.

“Everyone is showing good team spirit and energy,” she said.

Even amid a difficult stretch for the Baltimore Ravens, fans showed up at M&T Bank Stadium Thursday night ready to cheer on their team.

Baltimore’s quarterback situation was a major concern heading into Thursday night’s game. With Jackson expected to miss at least three more games and Huntley also unavailable, undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano received the starting opportunity.

Even with two quarterbacks sidelined, fans said they had no intention of abandoning their team.

“It’s amazing, we’ve got our quarterback injured, our second quarterback injured, and everyone is still out here supporting the team,” said Matthew Suchman, who traveled from Florida with Conall.

Some supporters remained optimistic about Fagnano’s ability to handle the pressure and help Baltimore compete against Jacksonville.

One fan said he believed the rookie could deliver strong passes, get the ball to running back Derrick Henry, and help the Ravens get the job done.

Another supporter expressed even greater confidence, predicting that Fagnano would have an outstanding performance.

Other fans kept their expectations simple, hoping to see Baltimore put points on the scoreboard.

“Hopefully we score a touchdown,” one fan said.

Baltimore Supporters Say the Season Is Not Over

Despite the team’s recent losing streak and ongoing injury concerns, Ravens supporters remained hopeful about the rest of the season.

Brian Mueller of Essex, who attended the game with Savannah Mueller, said supporting the team was important regardless of the circumstances.

“We’re excited because unfortunately, with the circumstances, we still have to come support our birds,” he said.

Another fan shared a similar message, saying the team’s supporters and players needed to stand together during difficult moments.

“When the Ravens fans put their backs against the wall, this is when the team puts their back against the wall and we fight,” the fan said.

The strong turnout at M&T Bank Stadium showed that Baltimore still has plenty of support, even as the team works through injuries and disappointing results.

Ravens Prepare for Next Home Game Against Chargers

Baltimore will have another opportunity to play in front of its home crowd when the Ravens host the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night, Nov. 17.

After four consecutive losses, the team will be looking to turn things around and give its supporters a reason to celebrate.

For Ravens fans, Thursday night’s defeat was another difficult result, but their message remained clear: their support for Baltimore is not going away.
